Overview:

The USBICES-X Coalition Integration lab (CIL) is the enduring solution for intelligence sharing. Meeting the challenge of complex 21st century operational requirements, the USBICES-X CIL is a leader in making systems and tools available to trusted stakeholders in a distributed, coalition shared data environment. Located at JB Langley-Eustis, the CIL provides a reliable resource to advance the Initial Operating Capability of NATO Joint Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance.

Responsibilities:
  • In-depth knowledge of firewalls, Cisco IOS/XE Switches, and DISA STIG compliance
  • Plans network layouts and configures systems to user environments
  • Analyzes network topologies and traffic and capacity requirements
  • This position will require installations across supported sites in the Hampton Roads area
  • Supports the acquisition of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services as needed
  • Be well versed in all aspects of network administration and engineering
  • May provide technical support and troubleshooting to users
  • May perform network administration duties
  • Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced network personnel and may have supervisory responsibilities
  • May serve as technical team or task leader
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
  • Participates in special projects as required
Required Qualifications:
  • 5 +years of experience
  • Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education, technical certification or training, or work experience
  • Have a Security+ CE Certification (or equivalent)
  • CCNA required/CCNP preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in network analysis and design required.
  • Advanced knowledge of routers, switches, patch panels, concentrators, associated terminals, and related network hardware and software required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with vendor relationships.
  • Depending on job assignment, additional specific certifications may be required.
  • The work is typically performed in an office environment, which requires normal safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes, or equipment.
